Bullet Journal Edition 2
Bullet Journal® in Yellow24
The original by Ryder Carroll in Yellow24. This new colour has been selected by the Bullet Journal community.
Best described as a mindfulness practice disguised as a productivity system, the Bullet Journal® Method (a. k. a: BuJo®) has helped countless people around the world lead more productive
and meaningful lives using nothing more than pen and paper. A groundbreaking idea that is easy to adapt.
The Original Bullet Journal® Pocket has been designed down to the last detail for daily journaling: When unfolded, it offers more space than you might expect, and when used vertically you have a whole DIN A5 page at your disposal. The dotted lines are designed so that the maximum 31 days of a month can be listed vertically on each page - enough space for a whole month. They are available in sets of 3.
The Bullet Journal® Stealth Collector's Set is a limited design edition and combines three products in an exclusive gift box: the official Bullet Journal® notebook, the twist pen No. 1 with black gel refill and the self-adhesive pen loop. Each of the three products is black, tone on tone. Light reflection reveals the design elements such as relief printing, gloss varnish, black page trim and embossing. The Bullet Journal® Stealth Collector's Set is aimed at the global Bullet Journal® community, at fans who want to crown their passion with something very special.
The Nr. 2 is a mechanical pencil. The tip as well as the rotary head are made of shiny silver steel and form a noble contrast to the twist head is engraved with the lightning bolt, the symbol of the Bullet Journal® community. The German-made mechanism is screwed into the top for a precise fit. The mechanism´s tank holds up 8 0.7 mm HB refills, which can be easily reloaded with a twist, for non-stop creative journaling. The Bullet Journal® Drehgriffel Nr. 2 is a thoughtful creative partner for all journaling fans. For endless writing, sketching and drawing.
Bullet Journal® – Edition 2. The original version even more refined.
Chosen by New York product designer Ryder Carroll, the inventor of the Bullet Journal® method and the BuJo community, the Original Bullet Journal® Edition 2 in the new colour Green23 is available now. How do I organise my day and my life, with its many appointments, task and plans? In order to better organise his own life, Ryder Carroll first developed this method of self-organisation for himself as a method that can easily be adjusted to his personal needs – as an interface between productivity and focused thinking. A groundbreaking idea that is easy to adapt and has therefore been adopted by people all over the world.
The long, distinctive tip and the twist head are made of brass and give this writing instrument its special character. The black barrel is made of lacquered aluminium that has been sandblasted. This provides a slightly grainy, matt surface with a pleasant grip. The logo on the mid-section stands out discreetly against the glossy black lacquer background. The lightning bolt engraved in the twist head is the distinctive mark of the international Bullet Journal® community.
The Bullet Journal® Drehgriffel has a Japanese gel refill with 0.5 mm line thickness and black ink. It produces a fine ink line that is particularly suitable for Bullet Journaling.
New York designer Ryder Carroll is an inspiration to people around the world with his ground-breaking method of self-organisation and the original Bullet Journal®.
In cooperation with him and the BuJo community, we at LEUCHTTURM1917 have given Bullet Journaling an upgrade. Ideas were generated in an intensive exchange, which have once again expanded the potential for self-organisation. The result is the new Bullet Journal® – Edition 2, with additional features and extras for more individual structure and creativity.
New 120 g/m² paper only lets your thoughts and ideas shine through
With our specially developed 120 g/m² paper, each page offers a pure and pristine journaling experience. Due to its low transparency, previous entries do not shine through and the focus is entirely on the new page. The particularly smooth surface structure and high ink compatibility also make this paper the ideal basis for all writing instruments and creative options.
For beginners and advanced users: The Pocket Guide
Journaling fans will now also find the Pocket Guide in Bullet Journal® - Edition 2. This compact extra booklet with quick instructions is always at hand in the practical folding pocket of the back cover. For all those who want to discover Bullet Journaling for the first time, and an additional inspiration for advanced journal-keepers.
The Pocket Guide is included with our Bullet Journal Edition 2 in the english version only. Other language versions can be downloaded directly as PDFs here:
More creative freedom for appointments and plans: The Grid Guide
New features in the Bullet Journal® – Edition 2 create even more opportunities to customise and personalise self-organisation according to your own ideas. For example, with the Grid Guide: these instructions in the front of the book make it easier to create calendar overviews, diagrams or trackers.
Additional structure on every page: Page Dividers.
The new Page Dividers put smart markings on each page, which enable fast and precise division in fields or sections – both vertically and horizontally.
Iconic creativity for all of the year’s events: the new Sticker Set
A set of stickers included in the Bullet Journal® – Edition 2 provides even more design flexibility. The Sticker Set offers overviews of months and weekdays along with icons that can be used for labelling.
Of course, the new Bullet Journal® – Edition 2 from LEUCHTTURM1917 still features all the trusted tools and extras from the previous version, such as Future Log, three bookmarks, an index or numbered pages.
The first page of the original Bullet Journal® is used to display a legend (key). Ryder Carroll already created some icons for this, which users often modify - after all, the method he invented is an individually adaptable system.
An example of a to-do list: The normal bullet points (resulting from the dotted ruling) are used for listing individual tasks. If you want to make a to-do list for the current day, all items are listed one below the other.
To mark a task as completed, the dot is changed to a cross. If an item on the list is not completed and moved to the next day, this item becomes an arrow pointing to the right. There are many possibilities, as individual as the international community that has embraced the Bullet Journal® as its own and exchanges ideas on a global scale. Numerous other ideas and helpful videos on the subject can be found at www.bulletjournal.com.
